1.) T-Mobile

This is one of the cell phone service giants, and that means high quality reception and high quality devices. Unfortunately, it also sometimes means that you pay a little bit more for your service. T-Mobile has one of the best top prepaid cell phone plans of 2015 if you're looking for something that gets you everything you want, including a top notch prepaid device and you're willing to spend a little bit extra. The basic $40 plan gives you unlimited talk and text with 500 MB of data, while the largest plan of $80 per month supplies the same but with unlimited data as well.

2.) H20 Wireless

This prepaid supplier is a little less well known as provider of one of the top prepaid cell phone plans of 2015 but it is definitely in the running. This supplier uses the towers offered by AT&T which means that you can reap the benefits of some really great coverage, but you don't have to pay top dollar for them. The smallest plan on this provider starts at $30 a month with unlimited talk and text and 500 MB of data, their largest plan supplies the same for $60 per month, but with unlimited data. They have two other plans in between that boast smaller amounts of data at midrange prices. This is perfect if you want it all but can't really afford it all.

3.) Page Plus

Another small named brand, Page Plus runs on Verizon towers, so once again you get the coverage without the high prices. Their smallest plan boasts of a price tag of $12 per month with 250 minutes, 250 texts and 10 MB of data. This makes them one of the top prepaid cell phone plans of 2015 for people who just want a prepaid phone for emergency rather than everyday use. They also offer four other plans, including their highest priced plan at $69.95 per month with unlimited tak and text and 5 GB of data.

4.) Platinum Tel

This network runs using the GSM network of T-Mobile, and provides unlimited everything including data for only $35 a month. The catch here is that the data is not high speed, which means that it's perfect if you plan on e-mailing a lot, but it isn't going to do much good in the way of real online usage. This is one of the top prepaid cell phone plans of 2015 for moderate use at a reasonable rate.

5.) Verizon

Another phone giant, Verizon has some amazing coverage and great top tier phones to choose from. They also offer an assortment of 4G data plans including their lowest price point of $45 per month for unlimited talk and text and 500 MB of data. Their most expensive plan is $20 more per month for an additional 3GB of data.

6.) AT&T

There are 3 prepaid plans for this carrier, and it's another great one if you need some selection. For only $25 per month you get 250 minutes, unlimited text, and no data, and for $60 per month you can get unlimited talk and text with 2.5 GB of data. Obviously this isn't the best choice if you need a lot of online usage, but it's great for talk and text.

7.) Virgin Mobile

Known for their prepaid plans, Virgin Mobile provides 300 minutes, unlimited text and unlimited 3G and 4G data for $35 a month, or 1200 minutes with unlimited text and data for $45, with an option of paying $55 per month for unlimited everything.
