One of the biggest problems with stomach cancer symptoms is the fact that they are so vague, that they are often completely overlooked. At the same time, like many other forms of cancer in the world today, stomach cancer rarely causes any symptoms to appear in the earliest stages, which means that by the time someone does notice a potential sign of cancer, the disease may have already progressed towards a much later stage.

Stomach cancer is a form of cancer that begins to take place when cancerous cells begin to form and multiply within the inner lining of the stomach. Over time, these cells progress and grow into a tumor or tumors. Also known as gastric cancer, the disease in question typically takes a number of years to slowly grow and progress.

One way to consider what causes stomach cancer, is to think about the fact that generally, cancer begins when an error or mutation takes place within the DNA of a cell.
